The Serbian center is set to earn $59 million for the 2026–27 season, while retaining an option for the 2027–28 season worth $62.8 million.
Starting June 14, “Joker” has the right to negotiate a four-year contract extension worth $278,000,000. However, if he waits until next summer, he will have the option to sign a five-year contract worth $359,500,000 as a free agent. That contract would be the largest in NBA history, bringing his total career earnings to $724,000,000!
The 31-year-old star, a 2023 champion and three-time MVP, averaged 27.7 points, 12.9 rebounds, 10.7 assists, and 1.4 steals in 34.8 minutes per game.
