According to reports from Spain, Olympiacos is moving forward with talks with Celta and Borja Iglesias, as Imanol considers him an excellent choice.
It appears that all parties are willing to reach a solution, with the Basque coach of Olympiacos having singled out Iglesias, but nothing is certain yet. The contract of the experienced (33 out of 34) Spanish international forward (1.88 m) with Celta Vigo expires next summer, and the Vigo-based club has the right to renew it for another year.

Also still in the running is the other Spanish forward, 29-year-old Borja Mayoral of Getafe, while a report by Samsunspor confirms that Olympiacos made an offer for its African forward, Marius, with the same sources stating that the offer was under 10 million euros. The 28-year-old, tall (1.92 m) striker is interested in coming to Greece, but his team has not yet responded and is reportedly asking for a very high transfer fee to let him go.
