UEFA has appointed Javier Arberola Rojas to officiate the OFI vs. Hoffenheim Europa League match on Thursday (7:45 p.m.).
The 35-year-old Spanish referee has never officiated a match involving a Greek team. So far this season, he has already officiated three LaLiga matches (Málaga–La Coruña 1–1, Sevilla vs. Atlético 1-3, and Racing vs. Alavés 2-1), and he has also officiated two European matches: Ferencváros–Gornik 1–0 in the Europa League qualifiers and Atalanta–Hapoel Tel Aviv 0–0 in the Conference League qualifiers.
