It’s only a matter of time before Olympiacos’s signing of Jan Montero is made official. He confirmed the deal—which has been known for some time—with the “Red-and-Whites,” as well as that of Cody Miller McIntyre.

The Dominican guard hosted an Instagram Live session that was flooded with Olympiacos fans and their enthusiastic messages. The American star, who is leaving Red Star to join the Greek and European champions, also joined the online gathering.

As soon as Montero noticed him, he said, “See you soon, bro. Let’s go make history!”

The 23-year-old star is currently in his home country— ahead of his national team’s World Cup qualifying games.
