PAOK’s transfer plans are in full swing!
Having announced the signing of Taha Ali and reached an agreement with Hatzidiakos, the “Double-Headed Eagle of the North” continues to evaluate potential transfer targets.
According to the well-known Argentine journalist, Germán García Groba, the Thessaloniki club has submitted an offer to Mexico’s León for the 27-year-old Uruguayan midfielder, Nicolás Fonseca!
As reported in the article, PAOK’s proposal is for a one-year loan with an option to buy, while there is also strong interest in Fonseca from his home country, with Nacional seriously considering a move to sign him.
Fonseca was born and raised in Italy, taking his first steps in soccer in Novara, and later in his career played for River Plate and Wanderers, before spending the second half of last season on loan at Oviedo in Spain.
