Nikos Papadopoulos appears to be considering yet another player from Levadiakos to bolster APOEL.
According to a report by “sportime.gr,” the Greek coach has Guillermo Balzi on his list.
The report states:
“These are the players Nikos Papadopoulos knows and trusts the most. The Greek coach, who left Levadiakos to continue his career in Cyprus with APOEL, wants to bring half of the Boeotians’ starting 11 to Cyprus.
He has reached an agreement with Pentroso, even though a transfer ban has been imposed; he tried to sign Ozbolt, who ultimately chose Apollon Limassol; he made an approach to Palasios but could not reach a financial agreement; contacted Lodigin, and also looked into signing Magnusson.
According to information from Sportime, the former Levadiakos coach wants to sign another player with whom he worked last season in Boeotia. The player in question is Guillermo Balzi, who spent the last two years on loan to Levadiakos from Newell’s.
Reportedly, he had also made a move for Symelidis, but Levadiakos beat him to it and renewed his contract.”
