Promitheas Basketball Club officially announced its success in the case regarding the injunctive relief sought against the decision of the Professional Sports Commission issued last July.
The Administrative Court of First Instance ruled in favor of the Patras-based team, which subsequently filed a motion to overturn the Professional Sports Committee’s decision so that it could be granted its license for this season as usual.
The announcement:
“Prometheus VIKOS COLA Basketball Club informs its fans that it prevailed in the Administrative Court of First Instance and obtained injunctive relief against the decision of the Professional Sports Committee issuedin July.
For this reason, we have today filed a motion to overturn the EEA’s recent decision and are requesting that the license for this season be granted as usual, just as it was for the other basketball clubs. The Promitheas Patras Basketball Club is confident that the Professional Sports Committee will respect and comply with the court ruling on the injunctive relief, which upheld the requests of Prometheus Patras Basketball Club before the Administrative Court, as was entirely reasonable.”
