Without a doubt, Rodri was one of Spain’s key players in the big 2-0 victory over France, which secured their spot in the World Cup final (July 19).

The “Roja” midfielder put in a stellar performance, helping his team secure a spot in the match that will determine the new world champion.

There, Rodri himself will have even greater motivation to win the World Cup, since, if he does, he’ll add his name to one of the most exclusive lists in world soccer.

That’s because he’ll become the 11th player to have a World Cup, a Champions League title, and a Ballon d’Or in his trophy case! The 10 who have achieved this so far are Messi, Dembélé, Zidane, Bobby Charlton, Ronaldinho, Kaká, Rivaldo, Gerd Müller, Beckenbauer, and Rossi.
