According to a report on the website “sdna.gr,” Michalis Panagidis will continue his career with APOEL after four years with Aris Thessaloniki.
He is a 22-year-old attacking midfielder who plays on the wings, and his case was recommended by Nikos Papadopoulos, as noted in the report.
Panagidis made a total of 29 appearances for the “yellow-and-blacks” and also played in 44 matches with the B team.
The report states in detail: “Michalis Panagidis is expected to leave Aris after four years with the team. His next destination is Cyprus, to play for APOEL.
The 22-year-old attacking midfielder has completed his contract with the Thessaloniki-based team and will not be renewing it; the next stop in his career, as all signs indicate, will be Cyprus and APOEL.
The Cypriot club appears to have expressed strong interest in Panagidis, viewing him as one of the most promising young players with significant potential for growth.
The player is one of the first recommendations made by Nikos Papadopoulos, who recently took over as APOEL’s head coach. In fact, negotiations are at an advanced stage, and it appears to be only a matter of days before the deal is announced.
Wearing the Aris jersey, the Greek soccer player has made 29 appearances in all competitions from 2022 to the present.”
