How the League Phase Will Be Conducted
The 16 teams will be divided into four groups based on their standings in the 2025–26 season.
Each team will play four matches—two at home and two on the road—facing one opponent from each tier.
The first matchday is scheduled for September 1–3, while the League Phase will conclude on December 2, when all matches of the final matchday will be played simultaneously.
Upon completion of this phase, the top four teams in the overall standings will advance directly to the quarterfinals. Teams finishing in 5th through 12th place will advance to the playoffs, while the bottom four teams will be eliminated from the competition.
* It should be noted that Asteras AKTOR’s protest regarding the validity of the match against Levadiakos—due to the ineligible participation of a Levadiakos player—is still pending, with the decision of the Hellenic Football Federation (EPO) Disciplinary Committee still pending.
