We’re counting down the days until Renti is once again filled with soccer players, in preparation for Olympiacos’s summer training camp ahead of the new and extremely demanding season that lies ahead, with the club announcing six friendly matches where the team will test its strength.
José Luis Mendilibar’s squad will reconvene at the team’s training center on June 29 for the necessary medical exams, while on July 3, the squad will fly to the Netherlands and remain there until July 13.
As was the case last summer, the Piraeus-based team will return to Greece for three days and then head back to the Netherlands on July 16, where they will remain for another ten days.
During this time, they will play a total of six friendly matches against strong and formidable opponents. On July 8 (7:00 p.m.) against Raków, on July 11 (3:00 p.m.) against Leuven, on July 17 they will face Fortuna Sittard (7:30 p.m.), on July 16 (4:30 p.m.) against Ajax, on July 24 they will face Antwerp (8:00 p.m.), and finally, on July 25, Olympiacos will play its last friendly match against Alkmaar (4:00 p.m.).
