Olympiacos is in the final stages of preparing another round of transfer announcements, as following the signings of Mafeo, Stournaras, and the renewal of Dani García’s contract, three more moves are set to follow immediately.
According to reports, Joel Roca, David Carmo, and Balša Popović are already training with the Red-and-Whites and are expected to arrive in Greece within the next few days, no later than Monday, so they can finalize the last details and be available to José Luis Medilibar from the start of preseason training.
The case of Joel Roca is essentially considered closed. The 21-year-old winger is a choice of the Basque coach, who knows him well and considers him a player with great potential for development, capable of making an impact on the wings.
Meanwhile, Balša Popović remains the first choice for the backup goalkeeper position. The young goalkeeper is expected to be signed by Red Star for approximately 1.5 million euros, coming off an outstanding season in Serbia.
Meanwhile, David Carmo’s return is also being finalized. The Angolan center back is expected to arrive in Greece to sign a new three-year contract, with Olympiacos finally wrapping up a deal that was a top priority in their transfer plans.
The “Red-and-Whites” want to finalize these moves immediately, so that the new signings can be integrated without delay into summer training and become part of Medilibar’s plans early on ahead of the new season.
