The lengthy and demanding negotiations for the 21-year-old Spanish winger appear to have entered their final stage. A few details remain to be worked out before the deal is finalized, with the the “Red-and-Whites” racing to bring the player to Athens immediately so he can join the second phase of preseason training in the Netherlands.

José Luis Medilibar has singled out Roca and believes he can provide important solutions on the wings of the attack. The young player has already been briefed on the role he is expected to play at Olympiacos and is open to the move to Piraeus.

The Spanish winger’s desire to wear the red-and-white jersey has helped move the negotiations forward, despite the difficulties encountered during the talks. There is optimism at Olympiacos that the deal will be finalized soon and the player will be available to Medilibar.

The Piraeus club’s primary transfer objective is to sign a central midfielder who will immediately raise the level of the midfield.

Sofiane Amrabat remains at the top of the list, with talks continuing and the Moroccan international appearing open to the prospect of playing in Greece. Olympiacos is evaluating all aspects of this financially challenging deal, as the player is currently under contract with Fenerbahçe.

The “Red-and-Whites” are looking to add a player with experience, quality, and personality to their midfield—someone who can make a difference in big games.

Remo Freuler and Marcelo Brozović also remain in the running. These are two different and challenging situations, both of which are being considered simultaneously, though the priority given to Amrabat remains unchanged.

Significant developments are also expected in the case of André Luis. Kansas City continues to push for the signing of the Brazilian winger and shows no signs of abandoning the negotiations.

The MLS team has returned to the table with an improved financial offer, with the total package—including bonuses—potentially exceeding 20 million euros.

Olympiacos is not opposed to letting the player go, provided that his financial demands are fully met. André Luis’s camp also appears open to the move, as he views the prospect of playing in MLS favorably.

A final decision is expected soon, as Kansas City wishes to finalize the deal immediately. The Brazilian’s potential departure is likely to prompt Olympiacos to make an additional move to strengthen its attacking wings.

At the same time, the “Red-and-Whites” are working to sign a right back. Pablo Maffeo needs another player alongside him in that position so that there are two reliable options on the roster.

There are two or three candidates on the list, with one of them having been recommended by Medilibar himself. The goal is to finalize this transfer soon so that the new player can participate in most of the preseason training.
