Developments at Olympiacos are unfolding rapidly following the team’s elimination by Nijmegen. Although the team had yesterday and today off, a meeting is scheduled between Vangelis Marinakis and José Luis Medilibar.
According to reports, the club’s chairman will speak tomorrow, Friday (August 14), with Olympiacos’ head coach to make decisions regarding the team’s future.

Obviously, the two men will discuss everything that has happened so far at Olympiacos, as well as the team’s elimination by the Dutch side. It is not yet clear whether this will be a discussion that will determine the Spanish coach’s future on the Red-and-Whites’ bench or a conversation about the mistakes or missteps made so far, with the aim of correct them.
In any case, developments at Olympiacos will be rapid, and we’re in for a heated 15-day period on all fronts. In other words, aside from what emerges from the meeting between the two men, the Red-and-Whites are also moving forward with at least five or six signings in the coming days, as we reported earlier.
