The DEAB acquitted Imanol Alguathil of the charge related to his posting of the banner featuring Anja and Kyriakos on social media, since, “the evidence gathered did not prove that he intended to incite violent incidents with his Instagram post.”
As for Olympiacos FC, fines were imposed for inciting disturbances and racist behavior.

The DEAB’s announcement:
“1. Having taken into account:
a) the Incident Report from the competent Police Department,
b) the video footage from the stadium’s Electronic Surveillance System,
c) the Observer’s Report from the organizing authority
, d) the DEAB Observer’s Report,
which show that, during the match between PAE OLYMPIACOS SFP – Panathinaikos AO, on October 11, 2026, at the “G. Karaiskakis” Stadium, for the 2026–2027 Super League season, Olympiacos fans displayed a choreographed banner at Gates 4–7, as well as a banner containing abusive language; when combined, these conveyed an overall message inciting violence.
In addition, fans of the same club hung another banner in the stands at gates 12–15 that read “BUT DEEP DOWN, THEY’RE ALL GAY” (the word “GAY” in green), which remained on display until the end of the match, constituting racist behavior through the use of sexual orientation as a means of mocking and demeaning opponents,
decided, by its Decision No. 53/2026, to impose on the OLYMPIACOS SFP Football Club:
i) for inciting disturbances, an administrative fine of thirty thousand euros (€30,000),
b) for racist behavior, an administrative fine of twenty thousand euros (€20,000).
Pursuant to Article 1 of Law 4326/2015, as amended and in force by Article 104 of Law 5224/2025.
2. By its Decision No. 54/2026, it acquits the coach of the OLYMPIACOS FC, ALGUACIL BARRENECHEA JOCEBA IMANOL, as the evidence gathered did not prove that he intended to incite acts of violence through his relevant Instagram post.
