Olympiacos BC reacted immediately to the dissatisfaction Tyler Dorsey publicly expressed regarding the limited role he has been given as well as the issue of his contract.
As the “Red-and-Whites” announced, the 30-year-old shooting guard was left off the roster for Friday’s game against Barcelona in Barcelona and will in fact return to Athens immediately.

It should be noted that Dorsey has a contract through the summer, but following the public rift between the two sides, no one can say for certain what will happen with his situation.
The statement from Olympiacos BC reads:
“Olympiacos BC announces that basketball player Tyler Dorsey has been removed from the roster for the game against Barcelona and will return to Athens immediately.”
