Olympiacos is looking to build on its recent success when it hosts Sparta Prague on Thursday (10:00 p.m.) in the Europa League.
After extensively rotating his lineup in the league match against Panetolikos (0-2), is expected to rely on the core group of players who led his team to victory over Marseille last week (0-1).
We expect Ortega, Saliakas, Retsos, and Pirolá to have secure spots in the starting lineup, with Tiknizian and Bruno vying for the left-back position. In midfield, Froiler is expected to start alongside either Ese or Puerta, with the Argentine considered the favorite. In the trio behind the striker, Zelsson, Zota, and Chikino are the frontrunners, while Yaremchuk is the favorite to lead the attack.
It should be noted that Fortounis is sidelined and is expected to return for the match against Rennes (Nov. 5) or PAOK (November 8); it will likely become clear today whether Bailey can make the roster, while Popovic, Sipioni, Roca, and Marius are not on the European roster.
