Omonia and Apollon will face off in the third matchday of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan (September 12, 8:00 p.m.).
The “Greens” are coming off a big win last matchday, as they swept through the “Alphamega Stadium” like a whirlwind, defeating Aris 4-1. In doing so, they put their opening-round stumble and home draw against Omonia Aradippou behind them.

On the other hand, Apollon heads to Nicosia in high spirits, as they, too, are coming off a derby victory, having defeated Anorthosis 3-1. The “Blues” aim to build on their positive results and leave the GSP Stadium with a result that will keep them near the top of the standings.
On the field, Henning Berg will be without Neophytou, while the injured Aiting also remains sidelined. On the other hand, Omonia’s latest signing and a familiar face on the team, David Akintola, is included in the roster for the first time.
For his part, Hernán Lozada will have Weisbeck and Brandon Thomas at his disposal. Defender Goldson and midfielders Andreou, Brown, and Ljubic remain sidelined.
