Omonia is in the final week of its preseason preparations, with the final warm-up match against Panetolikos fast approaching (July 16, 8:00 p.m.).
However, the “Clover” is exactly eight days away from its first European match against the winner of the Kairat–Succesca matchup. As a reminder, Kairat defeated Suceava 2-1 in their first head-to-head match.
Omonia has posted some records it is chasing as a club, as well as some individual player records.
Here are the details:
“Andronikos Kakoulis needs two more goals to become Omonia’s all-time leading scorer in European cup competitions, as he currently has ten and is chasing Raufman and Semedo, who each have eleven.
Evandro has six goals; with one more, he’ll tie Kantilos for fourth place, who has seven, while Koulibaly has five and needs one more to break into the top five.
Jovetić, Bezos, Kostas Kaiafas, Savvidis, Sotiris Kaiafas, and Filippos Dimitriou also have six goals each.
Captain Giannis Kousoulos needs two more European appearances to move up to third place on the all-time list in OMONOIA’s history, as he currently has 38, while Kostas Kaiafas has 40 and Loizos Loizou has 41.
Fabiano tops the list with 51 appearances, and Andronikos Kakoullis is in second place with 43.”
