Panathinaikos will definitely be without Juancho Hernangómez during the EuroLeague’s “hellish week.” The Spanish forward sustained an injury during the Stoiximan Super Cup game against PAOK; it was determined that he has suffered a muscle spasm and has already begun treatment, with his condition being reevaluated daily.
Thus, as Zeljko Obradovic confirmed during his remarks at media day ahead of tomorrow’s game against Villeurbanne, the Spaniard will be sidelined for about ten days.
“Juancho will be out for about 10 days. The other injured players are following their own rehabilitation programs; we’re not pressuring anyone to return early. They need to be 100% ready to return to practice, and then we’ll see when they can play.”
