The Super League announced the new date for the match between Panathinaikos and Kifisia, which had been postponed and was part of the first round of the league.
According to the organizing body’s announcement, the game will take place on Thursday, September 10, 2026, with kickoff at 9:00 p.m. at the OAKA.
The match had initially been postponed following a request by Panathinaikos FC, which was granted by the Super League based on a decision by its Board of Directors on July 15, 2026.
The “Greens” had requested the postponement of the match so they could focus on their European commitments—specifically the matches against Hradec Králové—without the added burden of a league game.
Thus, Panathinaikos and Kifisia will play their postponed season opener on Thursday, September 10, with the game taking place at the Olympic Stadium and rounding out the schedule for the first round of the Stoiximan Super League.
