PAOK, by all accounts, is closer than ever to signing Serif Ndiaye on loan from the Turkish club Samsunspor.
Specifically, this development was confirmed by the head of the Turkish club’s press office, who stated: “We are loaning Serif Endiaye to PAOK,” effectively confirming his move to the Thessaloniki-based team.
Here is what Suat Sakir said in detail: “We are loaning Serif Endiaye to PAOK in Greece, with a buyout clause. The final formalities are currently being finalized. We will definitely be acquiring a forward.”
Meanwhile, reports from Turkey indicate that the loan terms include a purchase option worth up to 3 million euros, in the event that his current team is satisfied with his performance and wishes to purchase him outright.
During last season, the experienced star made a total of 29 appearances across all competitions, scoring 10 goals and providing 3 assists.
Diaye is a national team player for his home country, having made 19 appearances and scored 4 goals for his national team, and a few weeks ago he was part of the squad for the North American World Cup, though he did not make an appearance.
