Emiliano Martínez will continue his career at Chelsea. The London “Blues” paid Aston Villa 9 million euros to acquire the Argentine international goalkeeper, who signed a two-year contract with an option to extend for an additional year.
The 34-year-old Martínez is expected to travel to London this coming weekend to undergo the standard medical exams and sign with the Club World Club World Cup.
