Robert Ljubišić, who previously played for AEK, at least for the upcoming season, as only the formalities remain to finalize his loan to LASK.
The Austrian club has reached an agreement with both the 27-year-old midfielder and AEK, with the deal involving a one-year loan and including a purchase option of up to 2.5 million euros. At the same time, the agreement includes bonuses and conditions related to the player’s number of appearances and playing time.
Ljubišić was signed by AEK in January 2024 from Dinamo Zagreb for 4 million euros and is under contract through the summer 2029. During his two years wearing the yellow-and-black jersey, he made 68 appearances, scoring 10 goals and providing 9 assists.
Marko Nikolić did not include him in his starting lineup plans for the new season, so AEK proceeded to transfer him, with the Croatian returning to Austria, the country where he was born, to continue his career with LASK.
