A nail-biter in Peristeri, with PAOK celebrating a huge 84-82 victory over Panathinaikos and securing a spot in the Stoiximan Super Cup final!
PAOK held the upper hand for much of the game, but Panathinaikos took the lead in the closing moments and seemed to have found a hero in Silven Francisco (82-81), but the last word belonged to Jedi Osman!
The former “Green” sank a buzzer-beating three-pointer and gave PAOK a huge victory, in a game that was literally decided on the very last possession. Olympiacos now awaits them in tomorrow’s final (8:00 p.m., SKAI), after PAOK had already pulled off the first major upset of the new season in its very first official game!
More to come shortly…
