PAOK is at a disadvantage in its bid to qualify for the Europa League playoffs following its 0-1 loss to Anderlecht at Toumba. The way the match unfolded, however, as well as the fans’ support—who rewarded the team with applause for their effort—show that nothing has been decided yet.
PAOK FC issued a statement setting the tone for Thursday’s rematch in Belgium. “Last night didn’t go as we’d hoped. We didn’t get what we deserved, but the story isn’t over yet. We’ll fight until the end. All together,” the statement reads.
