Alberto Paleari received the Stoiximan Top Save award from PASP for Matchday 3 of the 2026/27 Cyprus League by Stoiximan.
Upon receiving his award, the AEK goalkeeper made the following statement:
“I want to thank PASP for this award and everyone who voted for me. I’m very happy to receive this award, and first and foremost, I want to dedicate it to the entire team, as every save and every clean sheet is the result of the team’s hard work every day. I’d also like to thank our goalkeeper coach, Arjan Beqaj, who pushes me every day in training to become better.”
How do you view life in Cyprus and the level of the league?
“So far, I have very positive feelings about life in Cyprus. The island and the surroundings are fantastic, and everyone has welcomed me and my family with warmth from day one. As for the Cypriot League, I’ve been impressed by the quality and competitiveness. Every game is demanding; the level of tactics and physical fitness is high. There are also quite a few talented players. It’s a challenge for me, and I’m happy to be playing here. I’d also like to thank, on behalf of the coaching staff, Marco Sofroniou and Lefteris Petridis, who helped me adjust to life in Cyprus.”
