On the latest addition: “We’ve signed the French-Moroccan player, and in the last few days we’ve been close to finalizing the roster. We’re generally satisfied with our targeted moves. We’ve made careful moves, not just for the sake of making them.”
Regarding Uzoh: “We’re talking about a quality goalkeeper; we’ve seen the reports as well, but we can’t say more at this point, and beyond that, I can neither confirm nor deny—we’re still looking. I can’t say he’s not on our list—he’s a player who has proven his worth—but there are other players as well.”
As for Athanasiou: I can’t say that anything is in the works. We’ve fallen behind schedule, but we were waiting for some players from Cyprus and abroad; in two or three days, we’ll be in a position to make announcements. There will also be some strong additions, but they’ll be players who make a difference.”
What’s the status of the stadium: “There’s been some confusion regarding the stadium; we’re waiting on the Tsireio, and the GSO has submitted all the necessary documentation—it will be evaluated, and we’ll see how the situation unfolds. These are issues concerning the safety of the stadium and the fans, and they’re expected to be reviewed from the beginning so that a final decision can be made. There is an issue with part of the roof, and that is what the KOA president was referring to—in the east stands. If it’s ready, we won’t play at Dasaki. We believe the Tsireio Stadium will be ready. As far as Karmiotissa is concerned, everything that needed to be done has been done, and we hope the final decision will be positive.”
