Panathinaikos reached an agreement with the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation, which has given the club the green light to release Levi Garcia from his national team duties.
At the same time, the club has ensured that the international forward will be able to play in next Sunday’s (10/11) derby against Olympiacos in Faliro, provided he is healthy!
The reason for these moves on the part of the “Greens” is that there is hope that Levi’s injury isn’t serious, following his muscle injury in the match against Curaçao in the North, Central America, and Caribbean Nations League qualifiers.
In any case, of course, this will become clear after the MRI the 27-year-old star undergoes as soon as he returns to Athens. Most likely tomorrow (October 4), that is.
