PAOK continues its transfer planning at full speed, with its immediate priority being to finalize the deal with Aritz Elustondo, without, however, giving up on the prospects of signing Pantelis Hatzidiakos and Alessandro Bianco.
The 32-year-old Basque defender is expected to arrive in Thessaloniki for final discussions with officials from “The Double-Headed Eagle of the North.” The two sides are in advanced talks, and the goal is to iron out the final details so that a definitive agreement can be reached. If all goes smoothly, Elustondo is expected to travel with the PAOK squad for the main phase of their preseason training in the Netherlands.
Following the Spanish center-back’s signing, the “Black-and-Whites” will shift their focus to signing Pantelis Hatzidiakos. The Greek international defender is a top priority for the club, with PAOK seeking to strike a balance with Copenhagen, which is reportedly asking for a fee close to 3 million euros, while the Thessaloniki club is negotiating at a lower price point.
Meanwhile, the case of Alessandro Bianco also remains on the table. According to Italian media reports, Fiorentina rejected PAOK’s initial offer, as it was not satisfied with the financial terms of the deal. However, PAOK officials are not giving up on the deal and are preparing to return with a new, improved offer, seeking a solution that will satisfy all parties.
