A few hours after their victory over Aris at Toumba Stadium, PAOK’s players and coaching staff returned to work and headed to Nea Mesimvria, where Monday’s practice took place.
Simon Banza also participated normally in the team’s program; after his individual session on Sunday, he took part in his first training session with his new teammates.
As for the injury report, Meité, Giannoulis, Sarris, and Tsalof underwent treatment, while Despodov, Lousé, and Hatzidiakos continued their individual training on the field.
During training, the players were divided into two groups. Those who started in yesterday’s game followed a recovery and rehabilitation program in the gym and the pool. The rest took to the field and, after completing the necessary warm-up, played 5-on-2 drills, ball possession and movement exercises, as well as mini-matches.
On Tuesday (September 15), PAOK will train at 9:30 a.m. and in the afternoon will depart on a charter flight to Athens, where on Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. they will face Atromitos in the third matchday of the League Phase of the Superbet Greek Cup.
