The PAOK players will hold their final training session in Zaltbommel, the Netherlands, on Friday morning, wrapping up the main phase of their preseason training after two weeks.
The team will then leave the training center, and on Saturday at 5:00 p.m., they will play a closed-door friendly against Twente, before the squad returns to Thessaloniki on Sunday to enter the final stretch leading up to their first Conference League match against either Dynamo Kyiv or Universitatea Cluj.
Meanwhile, developments regarding Taha Ali are expected imminently. The 28-year-old Swede is the Northern Double-Headed Eagle’s top choice to bolster the wings of the attack. A verbal agreement has been reached with the international winger, and all signs point to it being only a matter of time before a deal is finalized with Malmö, with whom Taha Ali is under contract through December 31.
Taha Ali, who played for Sweden at the World Cup—appearing for 11 minutes against the Netherlands in the group stage and another 24 minutes against France in the Round of 32— has 20 goals and 19 assists in 132 appearances for Malmö.
