The “home team” is looking to put their 3-1 loss to Atalanta in the Conference League’s League Phase behind them and get back on track with positive results. In the league, however, they’re coming off a crucial three-point win, having defeated Anorthosis 3-1 on the road—a result they hope to build on as the season continues.
On the other hand, following their 2-1 victory over Nea Salamina, the “blue-and-yellows” have only one goal: to capitalize on their strong momentum and secure their second consecutive league victory for the first time this season.
On the field, David Luiz’s availability for the derby remains in doubt following the muscle injury he sustained. At the same time, it is also uncertain whether Goldar and Enganmaleu will be available.
On the other side, the news is positive for the “blue-and-yellows,” as Sastre and Stafylidis are expected to play, as is Laifis, who has returned to training. Meanwhile, Mancini and Marquinhos are in better shape.
