Gabriel Strefezza’s future lies far from Piraeus and Olympiacos. The Brazilian winger is not in José Luis Medilibar’s plans; the coach cut him from the main training camp in the Netherlands, and it is a given that he will leave the “Red-and-Whites.”

In fact, according to reports from Italy, Parma and Cagliari appear to be preparing to go head-to-head for Strefezza as well.

As “Tuttosport” reports, Parma wants to bring him back into its roster following his outstanding performance last season, during which he recorded two goals and two assists. The problem, as Parma’s CEO has pointed out, concerns how to finalize the deal, but Parma continues to push for the Brazilian.

Meanwhile, Cagliari is also keeping an eye on Strefezza for the position behind the striker. The primary target remains Daniel Maldini, whom sporting director Akardi previously managed at Empoli, with Cagliari attempting to “beat out” Sassuolo in the race to sign him. However, if the “Neroverdi” prevail, then Cagliari’s attention may shift to Strefezza.

It therefore remains to be seen what the future holds for the former Como player, who is currently with Olympiacos, awaiting the next step in his career.
