Cesc Fàbregas’s Como once again demonstrated its changed status, and with a response that seemed… completely normal, it fought back and took all three points (1-4) from their trip to Genoa for the third matchday of this year’s Serie A.
Even though the home team took the lead in the 19th minute with an easy finish by Osmajić—in a play where the “Rossoblu” capitalized on their speed on the attack— the “Larianis” comfortably turned the game around.

In the 25th minute, Baturina’s long-range shot found the back of the net to make it 1-1, in the 30th minute, Diao completed the comeback with a nice one-touch finish from the far post, and in the 40th minute, Nico Paz broke through on the right behind the defense to make it 3-1.
The Argentine attacking midfielder also hit the post with a thunderous left-footed shot in the second half. Tassos Douvikas had started the game but was replaced in the 66th minute by Moise Ken, who made his debut for Como. And in the 78th minute, the Italian, with a nice move on the counterattack, set up the onrushing Diao for the 4-1 goal.
