Panathinaikos is now preparing for the start of its official season, hosting Paris on Thursday at the Telekom Center Athens.
This game may mark the return of Nikos Rogavopoulos, who has recovered from the strain he suffered earlier this month in a friendly against Marousi. The international forward is stepping up his training daily, and if he doesn’t return for this upcoming game, then he has an even better chance of being available for the Stoiximan Super Cup semifinal against PAOK on Saturday in Peristeri. Dimitris Moraitis, who missed the game at “Pavlos Giannakopoulos,” is also ready to play.
Panathinaikos will definitely be without Kendrick Nan, Kostas Sloukas, Nigel Hayes-Davis, and Moustapha Fall. The first is expected to return from the U.S. most likely on Wednesday; he will be re-evaluated to determine when he will be ready to play, which is estimated to be sometime in the first ten days of October.
