Barcelona appears ready to put Frenkie de Jong up for sale.
The Dutch player has not yet played this season due to an injury he sustained at the World Cup.
His absence, combined with the fact that Rodri and Pedri have secured starting spots, while Gavi and Bernal are also options in midfield, is reportedly what has led to the decision to let him go.
At least that’s what “Mundo Deportivo” reports, noting that it’s very likely offers for the Dutchman will be sought in January.
After all, he is in high demand among several top-tier clubs, and the asking price, according to the same source, is expected to be close to 60 million euros.
