PAOK may have struggled in the first half, with Manresa causing them quite a few problems and the two teams heading into the locker room with the score at 40-41, but after the break, they improved and showed a completely different side in the end.
Although the third quarter remained close (58–56), in the final period, Andrea Trinchieri’s team stepped on the gas. With a 12-0 run and Brin Tyree leading the way, they pulled ahead by 14 points (70-56), firmly took control, and secured the victory, making for a perfect EuroCup debut in front of a packed Palataki.
The standout performers for PAOK were Jedi Osman and Brin Tayri. Osman finished the game with 23 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists, while Taïri was instrumental with 20 points in just 15 minutes, shooting 4-for-5 from three-point range. Nick Calathes also had an outstanding performance, nearly recording a double-double with 13 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists, contributing in many areas of the game.
