Olympiacos BC is responding to the decisions of the ESAKE sports judge following the events of Game 5 of this year’s Stoiximan GBL.
The “Red-and-Whites,” like Panathinaikos, were penalized with a two-point deduction from next season’s standings, and for this reason, the Piraeus-based club will appeal to the ASEAD, where they will challenge the penalty imposed on them.
The ruling states that the team bears objective responsibility, and this is the basis on which the team is basing its arguments to request that the point deduction be overturned.
At the same time, the European Champions have also lodged complaints regarding the 7-game suspension of Tyrick Jones following the violent altercation with Kendrick Nunn at SEF. The Piraeus team argued that their player was pushing his opponent away and did not grab him by the throat during the incident that occurred in the final game of the season’s playoffs, which has now concluded.
