PAOK’s deal for Diego Costa is in the final stages, with the Brazilian center back having arrived in Thessaloniki to formally finalize his transfer.
The 27-year-old player is owned by Krasnodar, and PAOK will acquire him on a one-year loan, and his contract will include a buyout clause of eight million euros, in case the “Double-Headed Eagle of the North” wishes to make the transfer permanent after the end of this season.
Diego Costa was scheduled to arrive on Friday (September 4), but his trip was slightly delayed, with the Brazilian arriving in Greece on Saturday morning (September 5).
Now, only the formalities remain to officially complete his signing with PAOK, with the Brazilian set to undergo all necessary medical exams and then be announced by the “Double-Headed Eagle of the North.”
