After a long journey that lasted almost… a day, Armando González arrived in Athens at noon on Friday to formally complete his transfer to Olympiacos.
The 23-year-old forward departed from Mexico yesterday at noon and landed shortly before 3:00 p.m. at Eleftherios Venizelos Airport on a flight from Istanbul.

After resting for a few hours, the international star will undergo the necessary medical exams and then sign a four-year contract, as the agreement with Chivas for his transfer has already been finalized. The Guadalajara club will receive 8.5 million euros, with an additional 2 million euros in bonuses, and the Mexican club retaining a 20% resale percentage.
Last season, he made 38 appearances for Chivas, scoring 24 goals and providing 2 assists,
