The announcement: “The transfer window has closed in most European leagues, though it remains open in some of them, and one of the players attracting interest is Ioannis Kostis of Levadiakos.
According to information from Gazzetta, a team from the Emirates has made an official offer to the Greek club to sign the 26-year-old midfielder for 1.5 million , while he is under contract through the summer of 2028.
On the other hand, Levadiakos has set higher financial demands for the sale of the Cypriot player, though the difference between the two clubs’ asking prices is not significant. In the Emirates, the transfer window closes on September 27, so there are still a few days left.
It’s worth noting that Kostis has also attracted interest from clubs in France and Belgium, while during the previous two transfer windows he was very close to signing with PAOK and Panathinaikos.
He has been with Levadiakos since the summer of 2024, and last year he was one of the key players on the team that came within a hair’s breadth of the playoffs and ultimately finished in 5th-8 with 34 appearances and five goals.”
