Miltos Tentoglou took first place at the Diamond League meet in Lausanne.
The Olympic gold medalist and European champion in the long jump recorded a distance of 8.24 on his second attempt, which was enough to secure him the top spot.
Tentoglou also recorded jumps of 8.04, 8.10, and 8.17, while he skipped his fifth and sixth attempts.
It turned out that he didn’t need them anyway to stay on top, with Switzerland’s Simon Ehammer finishing second with 8.13 and Serbian Luka Boskovic in third with 8.07.
