According to the Guardian, the 26-year-old Chelsea right back is dealing with a hamstring injury, which he felt immediately after the “goalless” draw between “Three Lions” against Ghana in the second match of the group stage of the 2026 World Cup.
As the British media report, James, who started in both of the country’s first two World Cup matches, is expected to miss at least England’s next two games, starting with Sunday’s match (June 28, 12:00 a.m.) for the final matchday of Group 12.
