AEL is just a breath away from completing a high-profile signing; according to reports, the club is set to sign Stefan Jovetić.
The “Lions” have reached an agreement with the Montenegrin center forward, who became a free agent this summer after leaving Omonia.
The 36-year-old is set to undergo the necessary medical exams and will then sign his contract, after which an official announcement will be made.
Last season, Jovetić made 35 appearances in all competitions for the “clover,” scoring nine goals and providing eight assists.
His move to Limassol is a huge boost for the “Blue-and-Yellows” at the forefront of their attack, as they add to their roster a player with extensive experience in Europe who is also familiar with the Cypriot soccer scene.
