David Raya has spent his entire career in England, having moved there at age 16. Now one of the world’s top goalkeepers and invaluable to Arsenal, the Spaniard has expressed his desire to play in his home country someday.
“I’d really like to try my hand at LaLiga. For now, I’m very happy at Arsenal, but I’d definitely like to have that experience. I believe it’s a very strong league; maybe in the future I’ll be able to play for a Spanish club. “I’m Spanish and I’d really love to play there—that’s for sure,” emphasized the 31-year-old star, who is under contract with the English champions through 2028.
