Fenerbahce put on a show from 6.75 meters and dominated Zalgiris
Fenerbahce returned to winning ways in the EuroLeague with an impressive performance! Sarunas Jasikevicius’s team defeated Zalgiris 99-80 in Round 5, improving their record to 4-1 and putting their loss to Panathinaikos behind them, while the Lithuanians dropped to 2-3.
The Turks hit the court with their foot on the gas and put on an amazing first quarter, combining tremendous accuracy from beyond the arc with suffocating defense. Fenerbahce started with an incredible 7-for-10 from three-point range, finding their way to the basket with impressive consistency and closing out the first quarter up by 13, with the score at 27-14.

Fenerbahce’s response, however, was impressive. In the third quarter, Jasikevicius’s team completely dominated on both ends of the court, posting a 28-13 run and essentially sealing the victory.
