The Rockets have reached an agreement with Tari Eason on a five-year, $81.5 million contract.
The 25-year-old forward was a restricted free agent, meaning he could shop for offers on the market, but Houston would have the final say if it offered him a contract of equal value.
Eason had a solid season, averaging 10.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.2 steals in 25.8 minutes per game during the regular season, while he was even better in the playoffs, averaging 13.8 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 2.5 steals on average.
