Rostock-Aris: With some players out but Jović “in the lineup” in Germany for the 4/4

"battle" in the EuroCup
ALPHANEWSLIVE

Another European match for Aris.

The “Yellows” are on the road tonight (9:00 p.m.) at the home court of Germany’s Rostock Seagulls for the fourth round of the EuroCup, aiming to extend their unbeaten streak. They’ll be supported by about 800 Greek fans, including those who traveled on a charter flight, as well as fans from abroad and members of Germany’s large Greek community.

The Thessaloniki team is riding a strong wave of momentum on the court, coming off a comfortable home victory over Tortona with a score of 88-68 in the third round of the competition, and subsequently prevailed with another dominant performance against Amarousios (74-57).

Robinson-Earl and Liddell have been the team’s most influential players so far, contributing on both ends of the court, and are expected to be decisive against the Germans as well, while Morgan is in top form.

Vassilis Spanoulis included Stefan Jović in the roster for the first time; Jović had been sidelined for weeks due to a skin condition. However, injury problems persist, as Charalampopoulos, Bochoris, Tanoulis, and Poulianitis remain sidelined.

They will face a team that has recorded one win and two losses in its first three EuroCup games, with the most recent defeat coming against Le Mans in France.

Aris’s roster consists of: Mitrou-Long, Robinson-Earl, Toliopoulos, Dimitrievic, Hatzilambrou, Morgan, Lidel, Kostas Antetokounmpo, Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Birts, Mokoka, Jovic.
