For his part, Nicolas Ioannou, speaking on behalf of the players, noted that they would need to stay focused from start to finish to achieve the desired result.
Key points from what was said:
Ricardo Sa Pinto: “We watched the first game again, analyzed it, identified what we did well, and tried to correct our mistakes. The result wasn’t fair. We had a clear goal. We played well and should have won. Now, with the confidence and quality we have, we’ll win tomorrow. That’s what everyone—and the entire city of Paphos—is expecting.”
On Yoram Zague: “Zague is a young defender. He’s fast, strong, and technically skilled. We have high hopes for him. He’s coming from Paris. We want him to fit into the team and help us out.”
Nicholas Ioannou: “Tomorrow we’re playing a very important game for the club. Our goal every year is to compete in a European tournament. The team is in great shape and ready; we have quality. Tomorrow’s match won’t be easy—it’ll be like a final. We’ll need to stay focused from start to finish, and I believe that with our coach’s game plan, we’ll manage to qualify. We want our fans by our side, just as they’ve been in previous games. I hope we’ll see them all there at “Alphamega” and celebrate together.”
